Join us as a Communications Student for our Ottawa district, within our Canadian Buildings sector for 4 months starting January 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Communications Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

Support the development of proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
Create content for newsletters, social media, websites, and internal communications.
Support the coordaining of client, community, and employee events.
Conduct research on clients, markets, and industry opportunities.
Support business development and relationship-building activities.
Help manage schedules, communications, and project deliverables across multiple initiatives.
Work with diverse teams including operations, leadership, marketing, business development, and community partners.

Qualifications

Working towards a degree or diploma in any of the following:

Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English Literature, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Business Administration (with a communications or marketing focus)

Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
Competency with Microsoft Office products
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) preferred.
Knowledge and or previous experience with Canva
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada security clearance at the Reliability Status level

The estimated salary range for this role is $20.25 to $30.00, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
