As the Programmatic Yield & Ad Product Specialist, you are a dynamic ad tech expert serving as the central driver of advertising revenue optimization and ad innovation across Pelmorex’s digital ecosystem. Moving beyond traditional campaign management, you will actively manage Supply-Side Platform (SSP) relationships and continually tune programmatic mechanics - such as header bidding, floor pricing strategies, and supply-path optimization (SPO) - to extract maximum market value from every ad impression. Crucially, you will act as the operational bridge between Monetization and Product teams, translating buyer demand into high-impact, seamless ad placements. In addition, you will pioneer the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance our operational efficiency and analytical depth.

Please note, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and can work in a Hybrid model at our Oakville location.

\nWHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?

Yield & Revenue Optimization: Maximize programmatic revenue by continuously auditing bid dynamics, floor rules, auction mechanics, and fill rates across all monetized assets.
Strategic Partner Management: Serve as the primary operational anchor for all SSP vendors, resolving integration friction, expanding PMP capabilities, and securing optimal revenue terms.
Ad Product Innovation: Partner directly with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to conceptualize, test, and roll out innovative ad opportunities and formats that capture emerging market demand without compromising user engagement.
AI & LLM Application: Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI tools to automate operational workflows (e.g., troubleshooting ad tags, mapping discrepancies), accelerate technical research, and generate deep insights from log-level data and bid landscapes.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and maintain dashboards to track key monetization metrics, supporting financial budgeting, revenue forecasting, and A/B test plans for revenue optimization.
Internal Consulting: Act as the internal sell-side expert, guiding sales teams and aligning programmatic capabilities with broader business objectives to deliver impactful results.

WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE:

5-10 years of experience in programmatic yield management, publisher monetization, Ad Ops, or Ad Tech platform management.
Proven expertise with publisher ad tech platforms and infrastructure, specifically Google Ad Manager (GAM), Prebid.js / Header Bidding, and major SSPs (e.g., Magnite, Amazon TAM, Index Exchange, PubMatic).
Practical Experience with LLMs: Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) for operational automation, prompt engineering, data synthesis, and accelerating troubleshooting.
Understanding of digital ad product lifecycles and digital data collection processes, with experience working alongside engineering and product teams to deploy new ad formats.
Strong analytical skills with experience in extracting insights from data to inform programmatic strategies and troubleshoot complex auction mechanics.
Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and solution delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a relevant technical field preferred.
