The Senior Manager, AdTech Products leads the holistic technical strategy, end-to-end architecture, and organizational execution for our flagship data and advertising technology platforms. Bridging front-end SaaS applications with large-scale data engineering infrastructure, this role drives the vision for next-generation AdTech products across web, mobile, OTT, and connected platforms.

You will lead multiple agile teams across front-end systems, real-time data ingestion pipelines, DSP/SSP integrations, and analytics infrastructure. By aligning enterprise business goals with full-stack technical roadmaps, you will scale high-throughput ad-delivery networks, maintain strict privacy and data compliance, optimize multi-cloud infrastructure spending, evaluate strategic vendor partnerships, and serve as an internal advisor on emerging AdTech industry trends

Please note, we are only considering candidates who are eligible to work in Canada and can work in a Hybrid model at our Oakville location.

\nWHAT'S THE DAY TO DAY LIKE?

Strategic Leadership & Multi-Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale multiple engineering teams across Front-End, Data Engineering, and Platform Integration domains, driving career development, engineering culture, and cross-team alignment.
End-to-End Technical Strategy & Architecture: Define the unified technical roadmap across user-facing platforms, visualization dashboards, and big-data processing pipelines (e.g., DSP/SSP, DMP syncs, event streaming).
Strategic Vendor & Partner Management: Participate in vendor selection, technical due diligence, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship management for third-party AdTech tools, data partners, and platform integrations to ensure flawless execution and high ROI.
AdTech Market Intelligence & Knowledge Sharing: Continuously monitor evolving AdTech industry trends, emerging regulations, cookieless identity solutions, and marketplace shifts; translate insights into strategic briefings and actionable technical roadmaps for executive leadership.
Product & Platform Lifecycle Oversight: Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, setting standardizations for code quality, performance metrics, data governance, and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Alignment: Partner with Product, Data Science, Ad Operations, and external AdTech partners to translate complex commercial objectives into scalable, future-proof platforms.
Data Processing & Machine Learning Integration: Oversee high-throughput data processing systems and machine-learning workflows (e.g., dynamic campaign optimization, audience segmentation).
Infrastructure Optimization & Governance: Direct cloud cost optimization across hybrid and cloud environments (GCP/BigQuery and Snowflake), ensuring system reliability, security, accessibility (A11Y), and global ad privacy compliance.
Technical Debt & Architectural Health: Proactively identify systemic dependencies and architectural bottlenecks, balancing rapid commercial feature delivery with long-term platform health and refactoring initiatives.

WE ARE HOPING YOU HAVE:

Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical field. 10+ years of total software engineering and data experience, with at least 6+ years of direct people management experience over multi-disciplinary or multi-team engineering units.
AdTech Domain Expertise: Proven track record building enterprise digital advertising ecosystems, including programmatic platforms (DSP/SSP), DMPs, audience signals, and real-time ad delivery networks. Demonstrated ability to track industry shifts and evaluate external vendor platforms.
Vendor Strategy & Delivery: Strong track record managing complex vendor ecosystems, negotiating technical contracts, evaluating build-vs-buy decisions, and overseeing vendor integration execution.
Full-Stack Technical Depth:
- Front-End: Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript, client frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), build tooling, and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, ECharts) for heavy analytical dashboards.
- Data & Cloud Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of distributed data frameworks (Apache Spark, Airflow, Google Cloud Dataflow), cloud data warehouses (BigQuery/GCP, and Snowflake), SQL, and event-streaming pipelines (Python/Scala).
Systems Architecture: Experience designing high-availability APIs, microservices, and hybrid cloud infrastructures designed to ingest, process, and render high-volume behavioral signals.
Compliance & Governance: In-depth understanding of global digital advertising privacy laws, consent frameworks, and data governance.
Executive Presence: Exceptional strategic communication skills with a proven ability to align technical roadmaps with non-technical executive leadership and commercial goals.
