Original job description

As a Personal Lines Sales Broker, you’ll help individuals and families find insurance solutions that fit their needs, while developing a book of business that can generate long-term earning potential through new sales and renewal commissions.
Whether you're building your network, connecting with prospective clients, or guiding someone through their insurance options, you’ll have the tools, technology, and team support to help you succeed. With access to a range of insurance markets, modern sales tools, and ongoing training, you can focus on what matters: building relationships, closing business, and growing your career.
At KASE, we combine an entrepreneurial environment with the resources and support you need to turn your ambition into results.

What You’ll Do

  • Build your pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, community involvement, and other business development activities.
  • Engage with prospective clients through available lead-generation opportunities and proactively identify new sales opportunities.
  • Ask the right questions, assess individual and family insurance needs, and recommend suitable coverage options.
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals, address objections, negotiate where appropriate, and confidently close new business.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience that encourages retention, referrals, cross-selling, and long-term loyalty.
  • Develop your own portfolio and benefit from renewal opportunities as your client base expands.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to track prospects, follow up on opportunities, and stay accountable for your performance.
  • Keep up with insurance products, market conditions, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with leadership and internal account management partners to deliver a seamless client experience.

What You Bring

  • A proven track record of sales success, ideally with verifiable new customer acquisition.
  • Experience in a quota-driven sales environment, business development, or client-facing sales.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
  • The ability to build trust, ask thoughtful questions, and recommend solutions based on client needs.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, a proactive attitude, and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in insurance.
  • A willingness to learn, embrace coaching, and take ownership of your results.
  • A valid RIBO license, or a willingness to obtain one with KASE’s support
