Tool Applicator
Location: Longueuil / Montréal, Québec

We are hiring two Tool Applicators to support aerospace-engine manufacturing programs. You will work closely with manufacturing methods, NC programming, special-process, CMM inspection, planning, and production teams to optimize tooling performance and maintain production continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot tooling-performance issues and support production teams with machining challenges.
- Recommend and implement alternative tooling solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to operators, planners, and manufacturing-support teams.
- Review tooling deviations and support non-conformance resolution.
- Perform drawing markups and technical corrections related to tooling conditions.
- Support new-part introduction with planning and manufacturing-engineering teams.
- Define tooling-usage values, salvage dimensions, cutting parameters, and expected tool life.
- Contribute to machinability optimization and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Initiate procurement requests for tooling packages, including tool holders and cutting tools, for new machine setups.
Required Qualifications
- 3â5 years of relevant experience in tooling, manufacturing, machining, or NC/CNC programming.
- College or university education in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Canadian citizen or permanent resident, authorized to work in Canada.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
- Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in NC programming, manufacturing methods, and aerospace tooling.
- Basic knowledge of CATIA V5.
- Experience optimizing tool life, cutting parameters, and machining performance.

Nous recrutons deux spĂ©cialistes de lâoutillage pour soutenir des programmes de fabrication de moteurs aĂ©ronautiques. Vous collaborerez avec les Ă©quipes de mĂ©thodes, programmation CN, procĂ©dĂ©s spĂ©ciaux, inspection MMT, planification et production afin dâoptimiser la performance des outils et dâassurer la continuitĂ© de la production.
Qualifications requises
- De 3 Ă 5 ans dâexpĂ©rience pertinente en outillage, fabrication, usinage ou programmation CN.
- Formation collégiale ou universitaire en génie mécanique, fabrication aérospatiale ou domaine connexe; une expérience équivalente sera considérée.
- Citoyenneté canadienne ou résidence permanente avec autorisation de travailler au Canada.
- MaĂźtrise professionnelle du français et de lâanglais.
- Solides compĂ©tences en rĂ©solution de problĂšmes, travail dâĂ©quipe et amĂ©lioration continue.
Atout
- Expérience en programmation CN, méthodes de fabrication et outillage aérospatial.
- Connaissance de base de CATIA V5.
