Job Title

Senior Executive Assistant

Location(s)

Woodbridge

Job Description

PerkinElmer is seeking an Executive Assistant to partner with up to three Senior Vice Presidents, including the SVP, Product Management & Global Marketing, Chief Technology Officer and President. The EA enables these leaders to be effective by protecting their time, anticipating business needs, and driving disciplined follow-through across their organisations.

This is a business partnership role, not traditional administrative support. The EA runs each leader's operating rhythm, coordinates confidential and sensitive activity, and keeps the SVPs focused on their highest-priority work.

Success requires sound judgment, discretion, business acumen, and the ability to balance competing demands from several leaders independently in a fast-paced global environment. The role is hybrid, with approximately three days per week onsite and flexibility around executive travel and business needs.sponsibilities

Executive Partnership & Prioritisation

· Act as a trusted extension of each SVP, exercising judgment on priorities, access, and matters that need immediate attention.

· Balance requests across multiple leaders fairly and transparently, surfacing conflicts and trade-offs early.

· Build strong working relationships with ELT Executive Assistants, functional leaders, customers, and external partners.

Calendar, Travel & Logistics

· Manage multiple complex, frequently changing calendars, aligning executive time with strategic priorities, customer commitments, and key decisions.

· Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, visas, and expense reporting, resolving logistical issues before they arise.

· Plan logistics for leadership offsites, trade shows, customer visits, and major events.

Communications & Confidential Matters

· Prepare and edit correspondence and confidential documents with a high degree of accuracy.

· Handle sensitive matters, including organisational changes, talent and compensation, and financial and strategic information, with complete discretion.

Projects, Administration & Continuous Improvement

· Lead special projects and leader-sponsored initiatives end to end, setting timelines and driving deliverables to completion.

· Manage purchase requisitions, invoices, vendor onboarding, and budget tracking for the SVPs' departments as needed.

· Identify and implement process improvements that increase executive effectiveness and team efficiency.

· Provide support outside standard hours when needed for global time zones, travel, or urgent matters.

Qualifications & Experience

Basic Requirements

· 8+ years of progressively responsible executive support experience, including supporting VP or SVP-level leaders in a complex, global organisation.

· Demonstrated experience supporting multiple senior leaders at the same time, including confidential and business-critical matters.

· Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

· Experience managing high-volume calendars and inboxes, and using travel and expense platforms such as Concur.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting commercial, product management, or marketing leaders.

· Experience in a global, private-equity-backed, life sciences, or analytical instrumentation environment.

· Experience coordinating trade shows, customer events, or international leadership meetings.

· Proficiency with Workday, purchasing systems, project-management tools, and AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Key Capabilities

· Judgment and discretion: Protects confidential information and knows when to act, escalate, or seek guidance.

· Prioritisation across leaders: Balances competing requests from multiple SVPs and makes trade-offs visible early.

· Executive presence: Represents the leaders and the company with professionalism, credibility, and composure.

· Proactive planning: Anticipates needs and risks and acts before issues become urgent.

· Operational discipline: Manages multiple priorities with precision and reliable follow-through

· Adaptability: Stays composed and clear-headed amid changing priorities.

Measures of Success

· Each SVP is well prepared and able to focus on their highest-value priorities.

· Calendars, travel, and critical commitments are managed accurately, with conflicts between leaders resolved early.

· Confidential information is handled with the highest level of discretion.

· Decisions and action items receive consistent, timely follow-through.

· Internal and external stakeholders experience responsive, well-coordinated engagement.

Equal Opportunity

PerkinElmer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability status, age, or veteran status or any other characteristics protected by applicable law. PerkinElmer is committed to a culturally diverse workforce.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $85,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
