Original job description

Petal is a leading Canadian healthcare orchestration and billing company that revolutionizes healthcare systems to make them agile, efficient, and resilient by enabling the forecasting and shaping of world-class healthcare through Healthcare BI, advanced analytics, and informed insights.

The Xacte division offers an innovative medical billing solution, enabling healthcare professionals, medical clinics, and billing agency partners to benefit from a distinctive synergy of expertise and technology.

Our commitment to fostering an exceptional workplace culture has earned us notable recognitions, including being listed as a Great Place to Work in both the technology and healthcare sectors. Join us in our mission to empower healthcare innovators and improve healthcare differently.

Why this role is interesting

As a Onboarding specialist, you take over after the sale and play a key role in onboarding new clients.

In practical terms, you support physicians using the Xacte medical billing platform, from needs assessment through to go-live.

You ensure their profiles are properly set up, information is complete, they are correctly registered (RAMQ), and everything is in place for them to start using the platform effectively.

Your role is to deliver a structured, smooth, and professional experience, while building a strong relationship of trust from the very beginning.

In this role, you will:

Take ownership of new clients as they come on board and understand their needs
Set up and configure their profiles while validating required information
Coordinate next steps with internal teams (training, billing, support)
Follow up to ensure a seamless and timely go-live

What we’re looking for:

If you see yourself in this type of role, we’d love to meet you! We’re looking for someone who is organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and attentive to delivering a high-quality client experience. You’ll stand out if you:

Are structured and detail-oriented in your follow-ups
Can manage multiple priorities without losing track
Are comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders, including professionals
Communicate clearly and effectively in both French and English
Are able to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients
Are comfortable using technology and web-based platforms
Have relevant experience in customer service, onboarding, or coordination
Can thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Are able to work independently within a structured framework

This role is offered in a hybrid model, with a minimum of one (1) day per week in the office.

Why join Petal

A hands-on role with a direct impact on physicians experience across Quebec
A work environment where collaboration and respect are part of everyday life

An experienced and approachable team

Evolving tools and processes

A growing company in the healthcare sector

What we offer

Recurring hybrid work allowance;

4 to 6 weeks of paid vacation per year;

5 paid personal days per year ;

A group RRSP / DPSP plan with employer contribution;

A modular group insurance plan, from day 1;

An annual wellness allowance;

Access to the Lumino Health™ telehealth application;

Petal is an active participant in the equal opportunity employment program, and members of the following target groups are encouraged to apply: women, people with disabilities, aboriginal peoples and visible minorities. If you are a person with a disability, assistance with the screening and selection process is available on request.
