The Opportunity

pH7 Technologies is developing innovative processing technologies with the potential to change how critical minerals are recovered and how mining projects are developed.

We're looking for an experienced Business Development professional to help position pH7's technology within the global mining industry and develop strategic customer relationships from initial engagement through technical evaluation, testing, feasibility and project development.

This is a long-cycle, consultative business development role. Mining companies make significant capital decisions around technology and project development, and earning those decisions requires credibility, persistence and a deep understanding of how the industry evaluates risk and opportunity.

You will own customer relationships as they progress through the pipeline, working closely with pH7's technical and commercial teams to understand customer needs, build momentum and advance opportunities toward commercial outcomes.

What You'll Do

Develop and own relationships with mining companies, EPCMs, engineering firms and other strategic industry stakeholders.
Identify, qualify and advance new opportunities from initial engagement through technical evaluation, testing, feasibility and project development.
Serve as a core point of contact for customers throughout the development process, building trust and ensuring the relationship continues to progress.
Understand each customer's investment process, technical requirements, risk tolerance and decision-making structure, and position pH7 accordingly.
Build and manage a healthy opportunity pipeline, maintaining visibility on priorities, risks, commitments and next steps.
Work closely with technical, engineering and commercial teams to translate customer needs into action and keep opportunities moving.
Support senior leadership in executive-level customer conversations, commercial discussions and strategic relationship development.
Bring market intelligence, customer feedback and emerging opportunities into pH7's broader commercial strategy.
Help establish the systems, processes and discipline needed to scale pH7's business development function.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 8–10+ years of relevant experience in business development, commercial development, technical sales, project development or a related role within mining, minerals processing, engineering, EPCM or process technology.
Strong understanding of mining project development and how companies evaluate new technologies and major capital investments.
Proven experience developing complex B2B relationships with long sales or project development cycles.
Ability to build credibility with technical teams and senior commercial and executive stakeholders.
Strong commercial judgment and the ability to understand both customer needs and business opportunities.
Highly organized, disciplined and persistent, with the ability to independently manage multiple complex opportunities over long periods of time.
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where the commercial model and processes are still evolving.
Willingness to travel internationally approximately 50% of the time.

Nice to have

A background in metallurgy, mineral processing or engineering is an asset, but relevant industry experience is equally valuable. Experience with an EPCM or engineering consultancy is particularly relevant. Investment banking, project finance or capital markets experience would also be an asset.

Spanish language skills are an asset.

Location: Vancouver preferred, but not required.
