Original job description

At Phantom, making life better is our mission; for our customers and our employees. We're driven by our vision and values - it's what sets us apart as a corporation - and what makes Phantom Screens a special place to work. Since our beginning, in 1992, Phantom has excelled, expanded, and stayed laser-focused on our passion: making and installing the highest-quality retractable screens on the market. Now we're the top-selling retractable screen, and our products are international.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Cycle Count Inventory Analyst to join our Materials team at Phantom Screens. If you're the type who actually enjoys digging into inventory data, spotting patterns, and figuring out why things don't add up (and then fixing it) - keep reading.

This isn't just a counting job. You'll be the go-to person for inventory accuracy, working closely with Materials, Production, and Purchasing to keep things running smoothly and make them better over time.

What Matters to Us

At Phantom Screens, we are committed to providing a safe, harmonious, and respectful workplace. All employees are expected to uphold our four core values and this is how we work:

  • Speak the Truth
  • Pursue Excellence
  • Serve Each Other
  • Practice Stewardship

What you'll be doing

Cycle Counting

  • Run daily counts using ABC analysis to keep inventory accuracy on point.
  • Report your results daily so everything stays accurate in Macola.

Digging into the Data

  • Spot trends in errors, figure out what's causing them, and report back.
  • Get to the actual root cause - not just the surface-level stuff.

Making Things Better

  • Share what you find with the Materials, Production, and Purchasing teams, along with ideas on how to fix it.
  • Flag any weak spots before they turn into bigger problems.

The Annual Audit

  • Take the lead on the year-end inventory count - plan it, run it, and report on it.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, purchasing, or warehouse work (or a mix of education and experience that gets you there).
  • Comfortable leading change and getting people on board with new ideas.
  • Solid Excel skills - intermediate to advanced. Macola experience is a must.
  • Good instincts for solving problems without needing someone to hold your hand.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep multiple things on track at once.
  • Comfortable talking to people at every level, from the warehouse floor to leadership.
  • Able to balance "this is how we've always done it" with "here's a better way."

Why work with us?

You'll be a key player on the Materials team, with real influence over how we manage inventory accuracy company-wide. If you like a job where your work actually gets noticed and used, this is it.

Sound like you?

If this sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you. Send us your resume and let's chat about how you can help us keep things accurate, efficient, and running smoothly.

Phantom Screens - making screens disappear since day one, and we'd like our inventory discrepancies to do the same.

Equal Opportunity

Phantom Screens is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. We're committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, and we evaluate every application based on merit, qualifications, and business needs.

If you require additional assistance with your application, please contact hr@phantomscreens.com
