We are looking for an experienced, forward- thinking Pharmacy Manager (Designated Manager) to take ownership of our dispensary, shape clinical programs, and guide our pharmacy team in delivering exception patient-centred care.
- Act as the Designated Manager under Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) regulations, ensuring full compliance with provincial and federal standards, ethics, and record-keeping requirements.
- Oversee dispensary operations, workflow efficiency, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
- Spearhead and expand clinical services, including minor ailment assessments, injections, and comprehensive medication reviews.
- Mentor and lead dispensary staff (technicians, assistants, students), fostering a collaborative, patient-focused team culture.
- Collaborate directly with local physicians, family health teams, and community healthcare providers.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPhm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Licensure: Active Part A Pharmacist license in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
- Injection Certification: Valid injection certification and First Aid/CPR.
- Experience: Prior Pharmacy Manager or strong Senior Staff Pharmacist experience in a community dispensary setting preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Confident decision-maker with excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
- $60/hour
- Full-time – 40hours/week
