Build the tech behind live events
A note from our President
“We’re a small team that punches way above our weight. If you’ve ever been frustrated watching great ideas get stuck in bureaucracy, you’ll love it here because we ship! Most engineers spend their careers building things users tolerate. We're building things they depend on- the kiosk someone walks up to at a conference of 5,000 people, the dashboard an organizer is staring at backstage, the badge that prints the moment someone checks in. When our software works, nobody notices. When it doesn't, the whole event feels it. That pressure is what makes this job genuinely exciting. We're a small team, we move fast, and we're looking for someone who wants to own real problems- not tickets. Come build something people genuinely love using"
Who we are
PheedLoop powers live events around the world. From intimate campus summits to major trade shows, we give organizers the tools to run smarter, more connected events - check-in kiosks, badge printing, mobile apps, and engagement tools that work together as a single ecosystem.
We're not building software people use by obligation. Event organizers choose PheedLoop because it works when it matters most; and that bar pushes us to build better every day.
What you’ll build everyday
- Build products used by thousands of event organizers worldwide, creating technology that powers real experiences and unforgettable moments.
- Own features end-to-end, and see your work in users’ hands quickly.
- Create scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations that keep our platform fast, reliable, and ready for growth.
- Solve meaningful engineering challenges by improving systems, optimizing performance, and fixing problems at the root.
- Ship constantly in a fast-moving environment where progress matters and momentum is real.
- Work closely with product, design, and leadership to turn ambitious ideas into reality.
- Use modern tools, automation, and AI to move faster, build smarter, and raise the quality bar.
- Improve existing products every day; refining features, enhancing user experience, and making great software even better.
- Help shape technical decisions and influence the future direction of the platform.
Skills we are looking for
- Strong engineering fundamentals in backend development, frontend systems, databases, APIs, security, and clean code.
- 2+ years of experience with modern frameworks and tools such as Python / Django, React, Flutter, or similar technologies.
- Ability to build reliable, scalable systems that perform well under real-world usage.
- Ownership mindset- you take initiative, solve problems independently, and care deeply about outcomes.
- Curiosity and fast learning ability- you love figuring things out and adapting to new technologies quickly.
- Product thinking- you care about users, workflows, business impact, and not just writing code.
- Strong debugging instincts and the ability to break down complex problems calmly and logically.
- Great communication skills with the confidence to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and collaborate well.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve and speed matters.
- Smart use of AI tools and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and output.
- Genuine passion for software, whether through side projects, experimentation, or always wanting to get better.
