Company Description PhysiGO Mobile Services provides in-home and virtual healthcare services in Winnipeg, MB and surrounding areas, and physiotherapy services across MB, SK, and AB. In Winnipeg, the team offers physiotherapy, occupational therapy, massage therapy, athletic therapy, and dietetics delivered either at clients’ homes or virtually for those outside the catchment area. In Morris, MB, PhysiGO operates within a Wellness Center, offering athletic therapy, physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy in a facility that features curtained treatment rooms, a private room, and access to a gym.
Role Description The Physiotherapist role at PhysiGO Mobile Services is a contract, on-site position located in Morris, MB. The Physiotherapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-informed physiotherapy interventions tailored to client needs and functional goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering hands-on therapy, prescribing therapeutic exercise programs, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans to support optimal recovery and performance. The role involves clear documentation of assessments and treatment sessions, collaboration with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, and education of clients and families on injury prevention, self-management, and safe movement strategies. The Physiotherapist will also maintain professional standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute to a positive, respectful care environment.
Qualifications
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with the provincial physiotherapy regulatory college in Manitoba, in good standing.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in musculoskeletal and neurorehabilitation assessment and treatment, including therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy.
- Experience or strong interest in community-based care, home care, and working with diverse populations such as pediatrics, neurological clients, and individuals requiring pelvic floor physiotherapy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate clients and families, build rapport, and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers.
- Sound clinical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently while managing a varied caseload.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using electronic health record or digital charting systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to client locations in Morris and surrounding areas, as required.
- CPR/First Aid certification and adherence to infection prevention and control practices.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; additional training in pelvic floor, neurological, or pediatric physiotherapy is an asset.
