Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Operate microwave tempering equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures to achieve required product specifications.
- Load and unload product into tempering equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and adjust tempering programs based on product type and production schedule requirements.
- Allocate and requisition product for production using the ERP system.
- Transport raw materials and finished product to designated storage, staging, or reefer areas.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet trucks and lift assists.
- Ensure product is properly handled and stored to maintain quality and food safety standards.
- Communicate with the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor regarding product quality concerns, equipment issues, or production delays.
- Assist in training employees as required to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
