Two to three years of experience in the consulting or construction industry, or a related field.
Assets include experience with complex hazardous building materials assessments in schools, hospitals, commercial buildings, residential apartments, or industrial sites; knowledge of construction and/or demolition methods; and experience training or mentoring junior staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
Excellent organization, accuracy, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt, prioritize client deliverables, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, comprehend, and proofread technical reports and correspondence.
A valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and insurance for required travel throughout Vancouver Island and British Columbia, plus availability outside core business hours based on client needs.
Ability to meet client site access requirements, which may include security clearances and/or drug and alcohol testing.
