Qualifications & Skills

Licensing: Valid Mortgage Agent/broker certificate / license in applicable province(s).

Industry Knowledge: Ability to learn and understand mortgage products, servicing, and Canadian lending best practices.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on high-quality customer service.

Organization: Self-motivated with strong time management skills, capable of flourishing in a remote, high-growth environment.

Responsible for selling mortgage products from a variety of lenders and institutions

Daily prospecting and relationship management with Circles of Influence• Ability to grow an extensive and qualified pipeline

Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings

Proactively manage opportunities with existing and prospective customers through all stages of the sales cycle

Update all sales activity in the corporate CRM system and prepare reports as required by the Regional Manager

Establish ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers

Demonstrated track record of sales• Strong attention to detail

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Highly organized with the ability to prioritize

Responsibilities

Sell mortgage products from multiple lenders, prospect for clients, build relationships, and develop a qualified sales pipeline. Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle, record activity in the corporate CRM, prepare reports, and stay current on products, procedures, and tools through training and meetings.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a valid mortgage agent or broker license in the applicable province and be able to learn mortgage products, servicing, and Canadian lending practices.
