About the job

We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator to keep the details of our marketing operation clean, current, and moving. This is a junior role with lots of room to grow: you’ll build a broad foundation across data, content, events, internal communications, and every other area of marketing you’d like to learn. In a world where entry-level marketing jobs are becoming scarce, it’s important to us to provide career paths to people who are just starting out and are passionate about the field.

You’ll be the person who makes sure our contact records are accurate, our content library is organized, our events run without a scramble, and our campaigns go live. The work is detailed and it’s varied, and you’ll end up understanding how every part of the marketing engine connects to the others.

If you’re organized by nature, excellent at communicating, and you want a role where you’ll learn fast because you’re close to everything, this is a good fit.

What we do

Pivotree builds and manages the systems that get products from a database to a doorstep: product data, commerce platforms, integrations, and the operational work that keeps all of it running long after go-live.

Every product moves twice. Long before it lands on a doorstep, it makes a digital journey: created as data, enriched, syndicated, integrated, priced, and turned into something a customer can actually find and buy. Most companies pour their attention into the physical journey and treat the digital one as a stack of disconnected projects.

That gap is our work. Pivotree builds, connects, and manages the digital supply chain for commerce businesses: the product data, platforms, integrations, and day-to-day operations that get a product from a database to a doorstep. We treat it as a continuous discipline, not a one-time build, because the systems that run modern commerce keep needing expert hands long after go-live. That’s the environment this role sits inside.

Marketing runs the same way. We’re a small, fast-moving team doing varied work by design: content, campaigns, events, and the systems that keep all of it organized and findable. We’re looking for someone who wants to learn the whole operation from the ground up.

What you’ll do

Keep our data clean: audit and standardize contact and account records in HubSpot, remove duplicates, fix formatting, and help maintain ABM program infrastructure so the whole team can trust the database.

Enrich our data: research and fill in missing fields on leads and accounts, using our enrichment tools and your own research, so sales and marketing are working from complete records.

Run event logistics: handle registration, shipping, and setup for our trade shows and field events, and coordinate the vendors, swag, and branded materials that need to show up on time and intact.

Support campaign admin: build segmented lists, help set up and QA campaigns in HubSpot, assist with reporting, and handle the smaller day-to-day requests that keep our CRM running well.

Help publish content: load blog posts and web pages, schedule LinkedIn and other social content, and proof everything against our formatting standards before it goes live.

Maintain the content and asset library: organize our internal database of decks, one-pagers, case studies, and creative assets so the right file, in the right version, is always easy to find.

Pitch in on other marketing tasks: this one is open-ended on purpose. A candidate that fits the job description can do the tasks listed above. An exceptional candidate wants to get involved in the logistics of marketing so they can learn the strategy and the craft. You’ll be given opportunities to contribute to any area of marketing you’d like to learn: ABM, demand gen, paid media, copywriting, SEO/AEO, creative, event strategy, and more. However, you will not be expected to do it all - we are careful about protecting team capacity and we’ve seen a lot of organizations try to fit everything from design to product marketing to video production into a single “marketing coordinator” role. That’s not happening here. The role is very defined; what else you tackle is entirely up to you and your capacity.

What you’ll own

Accurate, de-duplicated contact and account data in our CRM (HubSpot), on a regular cleanup cadence.
Account tier and ownership assignments that stay correct as our account-based program runs, across every system we use.
A content and asset library where anyone on the team can find the current version of any file in under a minute.
Event logistics that run without a last-minute scramble: materials shipped, vendors confirmed, registration handled.
Content that gets published on-brand and on-time.

What you bring

Experience: one to two years in a marketing, sales operations, or administrative coordinator role. Agency, in-house, or internship experiences are all fine. We care more about your attention to detail than your specific background.

Comfort with data: you’re comfortable in a spreadsheet and a CRM, and you don’t find data cleanup tedious - you find it satisfying.

Tool familiarity: exposure to HubSpot or a similar CRM is a strong plus. Comfort picking up new tools quickly matters more than deep experience with any one of them.

Writing: excellent written and spoken communication skills. You’ll be drafting internal updates and touching content that goes external.

Education: a diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience (2+ years in a directly relevant role, in this case).

Everyday tools: proficient in the basics, like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and at least some experience working inside of a CRM, marketing automation platform, or similar software.
