This role is central to that next stage.

The role

We're hiring an Operations Manager to be the central point of contact for our clients connecting with our internal team the person everyone comes to for what's happening, what's next, and what needs to get done. You'll keep the team aligned on priorities, make sure work is actually executed on time and to standard, and be the one driving follow-through day to day. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on structure, communicates directly, and takes real ownership of outcomes.

You'll report to our Director of Operations and CEO, and serve as the team's primary point of contact - the person who translates priorities into action and keeps everyone accountable to getting it done.

What you'll own

Serving as the main point of contact for the internal team, & clients keeping everyone aligned on priorities, status, and what's expected of them
Driving execution - ensuring tasks assigned to editors, designers, and production staff are actually completed on time and to standard
Ensuring shoot and production logistics are handled appropriately based on team workflow and client conversations, coordinating across the team rather than managing every detail personally
Quality control - reviewing deliverables before they reach clients and ensuring brand, messaging, and formatting standards are met
Direct people management: setting clear expectations, coaching, giving regular feedback, and managing performance across the team
Monitoring account health alongside our account managers and leadership, and flagging issues early
Building and maintaining SOPs and internal workflows as the team and client roster grow
Partnering with leadership on hiring and team structure decisions as Pixel8 scales.

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing a creative, content, or production team, ideally within an agency or fast-paced marketing environment
A strong track record of setting clear expectations and holding a team accountable to deadlines and quality standards
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities at once
A confident, direct communicator comfortable giving constructive feedback and navigating difficult conversations professionally
Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate issues before they become problems
A genuine interest in building and improving processes, not just maintaining what already exists
