Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, Calendar, the Marketing Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering Pizza Hut Canada’s national marketing calendar, leading promotional initiatives from strategy through execution. This includes new and existing product promotions, limited time offers and integrated campaigns designed to strengthen the brand, drive traffic and grow sales.

The Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, agencies and franchisee partners, to turn consumer and business insights into compelling marketing programs and ensure seamless execution across channels.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong brand instincts, commercial thinking and disciplined execution and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the planning and execution of key initiatives within the national marketing calendar across paid media, social, digital, in-store POP, CRM, direct mail and research.
  • Lead promotional campaigns from brief through launch and post-campaign evaluation, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and against defined business objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with creative, media and agency partners, providing clear direction and ensuring high-quality, consistent execution.
  • Partner with Digital, Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance to develop integrated plans and ensure operational readiness for national initiatives.
  • Leverage consumer, competitive and business insights to identify opportunities and develop recommendations that strengthen the brand and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Develop business cases and campaign financial analysis to support marketing recommendations, investment decisions and promotional planning.
  • Develop recommendations and materials for the National Advertising Council, clearly articulating the consumer insight, business opportunity, strategy and expected impact.
  • Maintain accountability for campaign media investment and performance, identifying opportunities to optimize plans before, during and after launch.
  • Monitor campaign and business performance, proactively identifying risks, opportunities and optimizations throughout execution.
  • Build strong relationships with franchisees and cross-functional partners, using influence and collaboration to build alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • Stay connected to the competitive landscape, emerging consumer behaviours and marketing trends to bring new ideas and bold thinking to the brand.
  • Respond quickly to changing business needs, franchisee feedback and market opportunities while maintaining focus on key priorities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to wear different hats, supporting broader Brand and Marketing priorities as business needs evolve.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, with 5+ years of progressive marketing and/or advertising experience.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Experience in QSR, CPG, retail or restaurant marketing is considered an asset.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to translate consumer, campaign and financial insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships across franchisees, agencies, cross-functional partners and senior leaders.
  • Curious, consumer-focused and bold in thinking, with a bias for action and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with digital, social and third-party delivery platforms is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

  • The successful Marketing Manager will be someone who can connect the dots between the consumer, the brand and the business. They will bring strong ideas to the table, turn those ideas into executable plans and mobilize partners across the system to deliver them.
  • They will balance big-picture brand thinking with strong execution, use data to make better decisions and continuously look for opportunities to help Pizza Hut Canada grow.
  • Above all, they will be a Customer Maniac, keeping our guests at the centre of every decision and challenging us to find new ways to win.
