Role Description The Overnight Construction Site Cleaner is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety on active construction sites during overnight hours. Day-to-day tasks include sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from work areas, walkways, and common spaces to ensure they are clear and safe for daytime crews. The role involves handling garbage and recycling, organizing materials, and cleaning restrooms, break areas, and temporary facilities in line with site standards. The cleaner assists in basic site upkeep such as dust control, spill cleanup, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. This position requires consistent attendance, following supervisor instructions, and collaborating with site teams to meet project timelines and cleanliness expectations.

Requirements

• Experience with commercial or construction site cleaning, including debris removal, floor care, and basic facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices, including safe use of cleaning equipment, PPE, and adherence to site protocols.
