About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Syndicated Loan Administrator responsible to perform day-to-day tasks to successfully execute operations related to loan activity, and to use
available resources to ensure pro-efficiently the productivity and quality of the Loan
Operations platform. This role is critical in ensuring accurate loan processing, maintaining operational efficiency, and supporting internal stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process loan transactions manually within loan systems when automated tools are not utilized
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts within the portfolio
- Maintain and set up credit authorizations, fee schedules, and loan templates in line with internal documentation and agreements
- Manage and update client payment instructions within loan systems
- Input and track fee-related data in internal platforms
- Monitor maturity reports and initiate rollovers or paydowns as needed
- Coordinate with internal treasury and funding teams for loan disbursements
- Ensure all loan transactions are accurately recorded and documented
- Maintain up-to-date operational files and supporting documentation
- Resolve daily exceptions and reconcile outstanding items
- Follow up on late payments, missing interest, or fees
- Prepare and distribute transaction notices and confirmations in a timely manner
- Support preparation of internal funding documentation
- Handle both supply chain financing transactions and traditional commercial loan processes
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial loan operations or supply chain financing
- Prior experience in syndicated/agency loan processing or supply chain receivables/payables is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with loan administration systems (e.g., ACBS) is an asset
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word; Access is a plus)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger entries is beneficial
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, IT, or a related field
