Pediatrician – Now Hiring

Plano Medical Center is looking for a caring Pediatrician to provide comprehensive child healthcare - from newborn assessments to adolescent medicine - at our Toronto clinic.

Toronto, ON Full-time Pediatrics PMC-2026-003

About The Role

Plano Medical Center is expanding its pediatric services and seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our multidisciplinary team. You will provide primary and consultative pediatric care for patients from birth through age 18, working in a modern, child-friendly clinic environment with full administrative and nursing support.

Our primary care physicians frequently refer pediatric patients in-house, giving you a steady and growing patient base from day one. You will collaborate closely with family physicians, on-site lab services, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, whole-family care across the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct well-child visits, growth monitoring, and developmental screening (Rourke, Nipissing)
  • Administer and manage childhood immunization schedules per Ontario's publicly funded program
  • Diagnose and treat acute pediatric illnesses (respiratory infections, ear infections, febrile illness, etc.)
  • Manage chronic pediatric conditions including asthma, eczema, ADHD, and allergies
  • Provide adolescent health services including mental health screening and anticipatory guidance
  • Collaborate with family physicians, specialists, and community resources for coordinated care

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MD degree with FRCPC in Pediatrics, or CCFP with significant pediatric experience
  • Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • Experience with newborn care, developmental assessments, and childhood behavioural health
  • Warm, empathetic communication style with children and their families
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and internationally trained physicians welcome)
