The organization provides technical product expertise, training, and marketing support to help distributors grow their business and serve end users more efficiently.
Role Description The Inside Sales / Business Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Edmonton, AB. This position is responsible for proactively developing new distributor relationships and expanding business with existing accounts through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings. Day-to-day activities include qualifying leads, identifying customer needs, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on opportunities to drive sales growth across Canada and the United States. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM records, coordinating with operations and customer service on inventory and shipping, and supporting marketing initiatives such as promotions and product launches. The representative will collaborate closely with management to execute sales strategies, contribute market feedback, and deliver a professional, solutions-focused experience to distributors and industrial partners.
Qualifications

Demonstrated inside sales, business development, or account management experience, ideally in industrial products or B2B distribution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including professional phone, email, and virtual meeting etiquette.
Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, with a customer-focused and consultative selling approach.
Comfort with CRM systems, order entry, and basic sales reporting; proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email tools).
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience or interest in industrial products such as abrasives, cutting tools, welding consumables, or safety products is an asset.
Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset toward achieving sales targets and contributing to team goals.
High level of professionalism, reliability, and integrity, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in Edmonton, AB.
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but equivalent work experience will be considered.
