About PLC Group

PLC Group is a global provider of Critical Facilities and Infrastructure Management solutions, supporting telecom operators, tower companies, and data centre operators through software, hardware, and AI-driven platforms. Headquartered in Canada, we operate across North America, APAC, and EMEA.

About the Role

PLC Group is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Accountant to support Canadian finance operations and international business units. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, support month-end closing, and contribute to multi-entity and multi-currency reporting.

Practical, hands-on ERPNext accounting experience is a key requirement. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their experience using ERPNext for accounting transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and related workflows.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Mississauga, Ontario. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use ERPNext for general ledger transactions, journal entries, account coding, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, customer billing, and outstanding balances.
  • Perform bank, credit card, balance-sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare accruals, adjusting entries, supporting schedules, and month-end close activities.
  • Support multi-entity and multi-currency accounting across international business units.
  • Track project revenues, expenses, budgets, and cost variances.
  • Administer employee expense reimbursements and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with actual-versus-budget analysis, sales-tax reconciliations, audit preparation, and corporate tax documentation.
  • Maintain accounting controls and help improve ERPNext workflows and reporting.
  • Use Excel, QuickBooks Online, Dext, and other finance tools as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Approximately 4–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Hands-on ERPNext experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Solid knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions, multiple entities, and foreign currencies.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian accounting practices, ASPE, and federal/provincial sales-tax requirements.
  • Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and financial reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Dext, or similar accounting platforms.
  • Experience supporting international or multi-region finance operations.
  • Experience improving accounting processes, ERP controls, and management reporting.
What We Offer
  • Competitive annual salary of CAD $60,000–$70,000, based on experience.
  • Exposure to international, multi-entity finance operations.
  • Opportunities to improve ERPNext systems, reporting, and financial controls.
  • Professional development and potential progression toward FP&A or Assistant Financial Controller responsibilities.
