Pharmacist Opportunity | Okotoks, Alberta
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing Pharmasave pharmacy in Okotoks that is looking for the right pharmacist to join its team.
This is a little different from a typical part-time posting.
The pharmacy is expanding, and the owner is looking for someone who wants the opportunity to grow with the business. The position will initially be approximately 0.5 FTE, with the intention of developing into a full-time role as the pharmacy continues to grow.
The ideal candidate will be a pharmacist who enjoys combining excellent dispensing practices with strong clinical pharmacy services and genuine patient relationships.
What they’re looking for:
- Active Alberta pharmacist registration
- Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) strongly valued
- Authorization to administer injections
- Strong clinical assessment and consultation skills
- Experience with medication reviews, care plans and minor ailments
- Comfortable balancing clinical pharmacy and dispensing responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
- Someone who values trust, authenticity, accountability and teamwork
- An interest in becoming involved in both the pharmacy and the broader Okotoks community
Retail pharmacy experience is preferred, although the owner is open to candidates at different stages of their careers who demonstrate strong clinical capability and the right cultural fit.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may not be looking for 40 hours immediately but wants to join a growing community pharmacy with the potential to build into a long-term full-time position.
