Original job description

About Plooto

Plooto is an all-in-one payment automation platform that helps businesses and accounting firms manage payables and receivables. More than 14,000 companies use Plooto to automate financial workflows, move money, and reconcile with their accounting systems.

We are building the financial operations platform small and medium-sized businesses can rely on to run with greater control, efficiency, and confidence.

About The Role

This role is Toronto Hybrid Eligible Only

We’re looking for a skilled IT Administrator to join our team and ensure Plooto’s internal systems are secure, scalable, and high performing. This role is critical to supporting our fast-growing, distributed workforce while maintaining the controls and tooling required for a regulated fintech environment.

This is a hands-on role in endpoint management, provisioning, automation, and audit readiness. If you're energized by solving tough technical challenges and shaping how IT scales in a modern environment, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll do

Manage day-to-day IT operations including onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, access management, and issue resolution for macOS, Windows, and mobile devices
Administer and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and key SaaS tools to support productivity and compliance
Deploy, configure, and manage device management tools (Intune and Jamf Pro) to ensure endpoint compliance and streamline remote support
Implement and improve identity and access management, including SSO, conditional access, and automated provisioning workflows
Partner with InfoSec and Engineering to uphold ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance through documentation, tooling, and audit prep
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications, endpoints, and networks to resolve escalated technical issues efficiently
Support cross-functional IT projects such as hardware refreshes, SaaS rollouts, security tooling deployments, and automation initiatives

Qualifications

2-3 years of hands-on IT administration experience, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments
Expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and Jamf Pro
Strong problem-solving skills across software, hardware, SaaS, and networking environments
Familiarity with endpoint protection, phishing prevention, and identity access management frameworks
Clear and user-friendly communicator
Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) is a plus
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Security+, or Jamf Certified Tech are assets
Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field - or equivalent practical experience

Why Become a Plootonian?

If you're looking to make a meaningful impact, look no further. We're transforming the payments space in North America by delivering an unrivalled product experience that solves a real and pressing problem for SMBs.

One of the biggest challenges small businesses face is managing their finances and cash flow - and Plooto helps address that. We have strong product-market fit, a significant opportunity ahead, and the backing of experienced fintech leaders.

You'll join a team that cares deeply about customer impact, takes pride in its craft, and moves with urgency. We're just getting started, and you'll help shape the next chapter of our growth story.

Join Plooto and be part of a mission that matters.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Plooto is committed to building an inclusive workplace where people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can thrive. We know great teams are built through diverse thinking, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience does not align perfectly with every qualification listed.

Accommodation is available throughout the recruitment process in accordance with applicable accessibility legislation. If you require accommodation at any stage, please let us know - we're happy to work with you.

This posting is for one available position. Compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and overall alignment with the role.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
