We are pivoting from isolated systems to a global ecosystem driven by AI and automation, and we need someone who wants to design the foundation for our next phase of global growth.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be the architectural authority across Plusgrade, designing the future state systems that integrate generative AI and automation into the core of our business processes. Your day to day involves authoring and shepherding RFCs for critical decisions across our landscape, defining target architectures that simplify our ecosystem, and eliminating technical debt by rationalizing redundant tools. You will spend your time evaluating how to intelligently introduce emerging technologies like LLM orchestration into our microservices environment, while collaborating closely with technical leaders across business units to connect SaaS applications and core financial backends. You are joining an organization that is re-engineering how software gets built by making AI a core architectural component, allowing you to design frameworks where AI handles the first pass of analysis so your focus stays on the complex decisions that actually need you.

What You Bring

You have an architect's mindset backed by a builder's credibility, meaning you can whiteboard a complex architecture and validate it in code when needed without relying on PowerPoint.
You possess an intense discipline for technical decision making, with a proven ability to drive rigorous RFC processes and build cross-team consensus without ever sacrificing speed.
You are an expert in complex cloud environments and SaaS ecosystems, navigating API integrations, distributed data systems, and the realities of modern CI/CD practices for deployment and upgrades with ease.
You translate abstract architectural concepts into concrete business value, and you defend your technical trade-offs with data and rigorous reasoning for non-technical stakeholders.
When it comes to AI, you have already structurally changed how a team builds software by making AI part of the operating model, raising the bar for everyone around you through shared AI-assisted systems.

Tu possèdes une mentalité d'architecte ancrée dans une solide expérience de bâtisseur·euse, ce qui te permet de schématiser une architecture complexe sur un tableau blanc et de la valider par du code sans dépendre de présentations PowerPoint.
Tu as une discipline de fer pour la prise de décision technique, démontrant une capacité éprouvée à mener des processus de RFC rigoureux et à bâtir un consensus entre les équipes sans jamais sacrifier la vitesse d'exécution.
Tu maîtrises les environnements infonuagiques complexes et les architectures SaaS, naviguant avec aisance entre les intégrations d'API, les systèmes de données distribués et les réalités des pratiques CI/CD modernes pour le déploiement et les mises à niveau.
Tu sais traduire des concepts architecturaux abstraits en valeur d'affaires concrète, et tu défends tes choix techniques ainsi que tes compromis avec des données et une logique rigoureuse devant des parties prenantes non techniques.
