You aren't just managing data. You are designing the systems that let travelers claim their space and comfort, handling the real-time complexity of seat maps and pricing for the world's leading airlines.

What You'll Be Doing

You will join the DSB squad, the seating team responsible for building and scaling products around extra space and seat merchandising, specifically Seat Blocker and Dynamic Seat Blocker. You will own and evolve the core capabilities of seat mapping, fulfillment, refunds, and pricing needed to run these products reliably for our global partners. To support this, you will help re-engineer how software gets built at Plusgrade so that AI becomes part of the operating model, from code production to the intelligent monitoring systems that the engineering org depends on. You will be responsible for end to end technical quality, turning complex requirements into scalable solutions that improve the travel experience for millions of passengers.

What You Bring

You have deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot and you are comfortable architecting and deploying highly available distributed systems on AWS.
You have experience managing complex logic for pricing or real-time mapping where data accuracy and performance are non-negotiable.
You have structurally changed how your organization operates around AI by setting standards and building shared systems that enable your peers to deliver high quality code materially faster.
You are a technical anchor for your team, capable of leading architectural discussions and making decisions that balance speed of delivery with long term system health.
You have a rigorous approach to the full development lifecycle, from automated testing to CI/CD pipelines, with a constant focus on production reliability.

Ce que tu feras

Tu rejoindras la squad DSB, l'équipe responsable des produits de merchandising de sièges et d'espace supplémentaire, notamment le Seat Blocker et le Dynamic Seat Blocker. Tu bâtiras et feras évoluer les capacités essentielles de cartographie des sièges, d'exécution, de remboursement et de tarification nécessaires pour faire fonctionner ces produits de manière fiable à l'échelle mondiale. Pour soutenir cette croissance, tu participeras à la restructuration de nos méthodes de construction logicielle afin que l'IA soit intégrée au modèle opérationnel, de la production de code jusqu'aux systèmes de surveillance intelligents que l'organisation technique utilise au quotidien. Tu seras responsable de la qualité technique de bout en bout, en transformant des besoins complexes en solutions évolutives qui améliorent l'expérience de voyage pour des millions de passagers.

Ce que tu apportes

Tu possèdes une maîtrise exceptionnelle de Java et Spring Boot et tu as l'habitude de déployer des architectures distribuées hautement disponibles sur AWS.
Tu as l'expérience de la gestion de systèmes complexes incluant des logiques de tarification ou de cartographie de données en temps réel, où la précision et la performance sont critiques.
Tu as structurellement changé la façon dont ton organisation opère autour de l'IA en établissant des standards et en bâtissant des systèmes partagés qui permettent à tes pairs de livrer du code de haute qualité beaucoup plus rapidement.
