What You'll Be Doing

You will join the SBU Core team, the engineering team that protects and improves our core platform. You will handle higher priority maintenance, mandates, technical debt, and platform reliability work that goes far beyond standard configuration or typical roadmap feature development. In your daily work, AI re-engineers how software gets built, meaning code production and testing are structured around automated efficiency so you can move faster without lowering the bar on reliability. You will own the health of endpoints and services that power global indirect bookings, ensuring our systems remain scalable and performant as we integrate with more world class partners.

What You Bring

You have deep hands on experience with Java and Spring Boot along with a track record of deploying distributed systems in AWS environments.
You think in systems and understand how robust API design impacts partner integrations and the long term health of the platform.
You have already raised the bar for your previous teams by setting standards and building AI assisted systems that allowed everyone to move materially faster without sacrificing safety.
You possess a strong understanding of testing and the test pyramid, using JUnit and Mockito to ensure quality delivery within CI/CD pipelines.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and can break down loosely defined problems into clear technical plans while collaborating across product and partner facing teams.

Ce que tu feras

Tu rejoindras l'équipe CORE de la SBU, le groupe d'ingénierie qui protège et améliore notre plateforme centrale. Tu seras responsable de la maintenance prioritaire, des mandats stratégiques, de la réduction de la dette technique et de la fiabilité du système, allant bien au-delà de la configuration standard ou du simple développement de fonctionnalités. Dans ton quotidien, l'IA restructure la façon dont nous produisons et testons le code, ce qui signifie que la livraison et la validation sont organisées autour d'une efficacité automatisée pour te permettre d'aller plus vite sans jamais baisser la garde sur la fiabilité. Tu seras responsable de la santé des points de terminaison et des services qui alimentent les réservations indirectes mondiales, garantissant que nos systèmes restent évolutifs et performants.

Ce que tu apportes

Tu maîtrises Java et Spring Boot et tu possèdes une solide expérience pratique dans le déploiement de systèmes distribués sur AWS.

Tu as déjà haussé la barre pour tes équipes précédentes en établissant des standards et en bâtissant des systèmes assistés par l'IA qui ont permis à tout le monde de bouger matériellement plus vite sans sacrifier la sécurité.
