What you will do
Execute the role of MEP Operations Coordinator by:
- Act proactively to predict and mitigate risks.
- Assisting with document control, meeting minutes, MEP quality items
- Assisting with managing the MEP scopes and trade partners.
- Managing relationships to ensure trust and long-term relationships.
- Managing the document process and assisting with the review and approval of MEP shop drawings.
- Conduct inspections of the MEP work and create reports.
- Inspecting MEP equipment arrivals and providing reports.
- Managing and tracking MEP deficiencies.
- Supporting the project team in the preparation and validation of construction schedules and commissioning, with technical reviews of specialty shop drawings.
- Monitoring the construction progress to ensure compliance with the schedule, identify issues that will affect project commissioning.
- Being on the site to assist with the management of the day to day MEP operations and supporting of the site staff.
- Ensuring quality and commissioning plans from our MEP trade partners are executed.
- Assisting with driving the commissioning process, including the management of the third party Cx agent on site.
- Participating in meetings as required by the MEP Operations Leads or PM.
This role could be for you if you have
- Several years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry.
- A University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience.
- A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration.
