Within the Enterprise Solutions department, the SAP SuccessFactors Functional Analyst works closely with HR teams, key users, and technology teams to enhance and maintain the HR solutions under their responsibility.

The incumbent combines a strong understanding of HR processes with hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors. They analyze business requirements, participate in solution design, perform functional configurations, execute required testing, and provide Level 2 functional support.

They contribute to projects, enhancement requests, and continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the manager responsible for HR solutions. The role requires an intermediate level of autonomy and does not include responsibilities related to people management, solution architecture, or technical system administration.

What you will do

Develop a strong understanding of HR processes and act as a trusted partner to HR teams and key users.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into clear and effective functional specifications.
Facilitate or participate in workshops with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Configure and enhance the SAP SuccessFactors modules under your responsibility while following established standards and best practices.
Perform functional impact analyses and recommend solutions aligned with business needs.
Maintain thorough functional documentation to ensure traceability of requirements, configurations, and decisions.
Prepare and execute functional testing, document results, and follow up on issues through resolution.
Support key users during user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions meet approved requirements.
Participate in deployments, validation activities, and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
Create and maintain user documentation, guides, and reference materials.
Contribute to user training and knowledge transfer activities for HR partners and key stakeholders.
Act as the functional escalation point for complex Level 2 incidents and requests, analyzing issues and coordinating resolution efforts when required.
Identify root causes of recurring incidents and recommend sustainable improvements to optimize HR solutions.
Participate in the continuous evolution of SAP SuccessFactors by evaluating new features and release impacts.
Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and various stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of delivered solutions.
Contribute to governance, planning, and continuous improvement activities related to HR processes and ways of working.

This role could be for you if you have

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources, HR systems, or a closely related HR environment.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors in a functional, configuration, or application support role.
Practical experience with one or more SAP SuccessFactors modules, such as Employee Central,
Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Learning, or Succession.
Strong experience in business analysis, process improvement, functional configuration, and enterprise solution testing.
Experience providing Level 2 functional support and resolving application-related issues.
The ability to manage multiple priorities, requests, and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
Experience working in an Agile environment and with Jira or similar tools (an asset).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
