What To Expect
To deliver an annual assurance programme, included in the role is a requirement to travel and overnight stays away from home. Assess Post Office Supply Chain compliance with the Private Security Industry Act, Bank of England rules, industry regulation, and business processes. Act as a subject matter expert to ensure Supply Chain retain Quality Management accreditations and meet the criteria set out by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) for the Approved Contractors Scheme. Support Supply Chain managers to maintain compliance through training, coaching, delivering compliance surgeries and providing ‘trouble shooting’ expertise. Complete a programme of remote compliance checks, such as monitoring of Power App completion and Service Now control checks.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
- Excellent working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operation.
- Qualified ISO 9001 auditor - IRCA internal or lead certified auditor is desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of one or more of the following:
- ISO9001 Quality Management System
- SIA’s Approved Contractors Scheme
- Bank of England NCS compliance rules
- Sound PC application skills – Particularly Word, Excel and MS Teams
- Proven ability to influence others not under their direct control and support senior management implementing change, managing risk and control.
- Understanding of how the Private Security Industry Act impacts on Post Office
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Numeric - ability to understand and interpret figures
