Original job description

About PostGrid:

PostGrid is a global leader in enterprise SaaS platforms for automated offline communications. Our robust APIs empower organizations to create, personalize, and dispatch physical mail letters, postcards, checks, and more to any address on the globe without ever touching an envelope, while ensuring clean address data. Operating at a massive scale across multiple regions, we’re redefining how brands connect with people beyond the inbox. If you’re driven to build category-defining technology and want to shape the future of offline communications, join our high-calibre team and help us transform the way the world sends mail.

About The Team:

PostGrid’s customer engineering team is the bridge between our customers and our product. As we are an API-first company, this team’s focus is to enable our customers to leverage our technology effectively. This involves everything from extending the capabilities of our platform to writing effective documentation that lets customers go from idea to implementation with the least amount of friction.

What you’ll do:

As a Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core product, responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development. You'll be building and enhancing our core services, which handle over a billion API calls a month. This role requires you to be a versatile full-stack developer who can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Your Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development: Build and enhance services using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
API Development: Iterate on REST APIs that handle over one billion requests monthly, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
Product Collaboration: Contribute to product design, optimizing user experiences and workflows. You will also plan features and estimate complexity in collaboration with the product management team.
Customer Advocacy: Manage a portfolio of key clients, identify risks, and create retention plans. You'll advocate for customer needs internally to address product concerns and improve retention.

What Will You Bring To This Role:

You are a versatile and experienced full-stack engineer with a passion for solving complex problems and a track record of building and shipping high-quality software. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and are dedicated to helping both your team and your customers succeed.

Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack software engineer, building both backend and front-end solutions preferably for SaaS company or growing start-up;
Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
Proven experience with system design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest and Vitest.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

What we offer:

A critical role in shaping the company's growth and sales strategy.
Professional development opportunities, including mentorship from senior leaders and access to advanced training programs.
A collaborative environment focused on achieving excellence and driving innovation.

Our Commitment to Diversity:

PostGrid is an equal opportunity employer and values the diversity of backgrounds and perspectives. We strive to cultivate an inclusive environment of understanding to have a greater impact on our business and our customers. We encourage applicants from underrepresented groups and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, or criminal history, in accordance with applicable local, state, and/or federal laws.

Ready to make your mark?

Join PostGrid’s tight-knit, high-energy team and build technology that powers global offline communications. With competitive pay, flexible work, and a learning-obsessed culture, you’ll ship bold ideas fast and see your impact instantly. Hungry for a challenge?

Apply today and help us reinvent how the world connects beyond the inbox.
