Irrigation & Landscape Labourer

POWERGROUP Resources, on behalf of our client Nutri-Lawn Burlington Irrigation & Nite Time Décor, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Irrigation & Landscape Labourer to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position assisting with the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial irrigation sprinkler and landscape lighting systems and Christmas lights.

No previous irrigation experience is required. Training will be provided!

Nutri-Lawn Burlington Irrigation & Nite Time Décor has been providing environmentally friendly lawn care, irrigation, and outdoor lighting services to Burlington homeowners and businesses for more than 25 years.

We use AI-assisted tools to help identify and match applicants to our open roles. This may include reviewing resumes and suggesting potential matches. All final hiring decisions are made by humans.

What You Will Do

• Assist with the installation of underground irrigation sprinkler systems and outdoor landscape lighting.
• Dig trenches, move soil, and prepare areas for installation.
• Assist with laying pipes, installing sprinkler heads, and setting up irrigation equipment.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.
• Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely.
• Assist technicians and crew members with daily tasks.
• Perform general labour duties, including lifting, digging, and site cleanup.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow instructions and work cooperatively with team members.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
• Assist with installing and maintaining residential and commercial underground irrigation sprinkler systems, outdoor landscape lighting, and Christmas lights.

• Previous general labour, landscaping, construction, or outdoor work experience is an asset but not required.

• Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting, digging, bending, and carrying materials.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Basic experience using hand tools and power tools is an asset.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain consistent attendance.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Valid G driver's licence with a clean driving record is preferred.

• Ability to work full-time, year-round.

• $21.50-$26.00/hour
