On behalf of Spring Creek Quail Farms, we are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team.
About Spring Creek Quail Farms
Spring Creek Quail Farms is a growing, process-driven sales organization supplying grocery retailers, distributors, and foodservice customers across Canada and the United States.
We have built a strong foundation for growth, including a documented sales playbook, defined customer lifecycle, HubSpot CRM, account coverage model, and EOS operating system.
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales organization as we continue to grow.
About the Role
The Sales Manager will lead our entire sales team, including Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Executives, and Account Management.
Reporting directly to the CEO/Owner, you will be accountable for the team's sales performance, pipeline, forecasting, development, and execution.
This is not a player-coach position. You will not carry your own book of business. Instead, your focus will be on building a high-performing sales team, developing people, improving sales processes, and ensuring the organization consistently hits its targets.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting clear expectations, targets, and accountability for the sales team
- Coaching and developing sales representatives and account managers
- Improving sales performance through data, process, and effective coaching
- Managing the sales pipeline and forecasting through HubSpot
- Ensuring consistent use of the company's sales process
- Developing account strategies and improving customer retention and growth
- Hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining top sales talent
- Working closely with the CEO on strategic accounts and sales priorities
- Building the next level of sales infrastructure as the company grows
This role offers significant opportunity for advancement, with a potential path to Director of Sales as the organization continues to expand.
The Sales Team You Will Lead
Inside Sales
Inside Sales Representatives manage leads from initial contact through qualification in HubSpot. They also close independent retailers and smaller distributors and support store activation when larger chains approve Spring Creek as a supplier.
Sales Executives
Sales Executives manage larger multi-location retail chains and broad-line distributors at the head-office level, taking qualified opportunities through to the first purchase order.
Account Management
Account Management is responsible for retaining and growing key existing accounts through growth plans, promotional calendars, pricing analysis, business reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
The Sales Manager will oversee how these functions work together and ensure there are clear responsibilities and effective handoffs between roles.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Accountability
- Own the sales scorecard and quarterly priorities within the EOS framework
- Establish clear goals and measurable expectations for each sales role
- Monitor performance and ensure the team is consistently working toward its targets

- Identify performance issues early and take appropriate action
Coaching & Development
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching with sales team members
- Work alongside the team during sales calls, buyer meetings, and account reviews
- Prepare representatives before important calls and debrief afterward
- Identify whether performance gaps are related to activity, account quality, sales skills, or process
- Develop high-potential employees and create opportunities for internal advancement
- Maintain a strong culture of accountability, coaching, and continuous improvement
Sales Process & CRM Management
- Ensure the team consistently follows the established sales process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in HubSpot
- Ensure opportunities are in the appropriate stage and have clear next steps
- Monitor funnel progression and time-in-stage
- Improve handoffs between Inside Sales, Sales Executives, and Account Management
- Help develop and improve the company's sales pipeline and lead-generation strategy
- Work with marketing to improve lead quality and sales opportunities
Team Leadership
- Lead productive and engaging sales team meetings
- Encourage knowledge sharing, role-play, skill development, and best-practice sharing
- Help the team understand and communicate Spring Creek's customer value proposition

- Experience selling to or through retail head offices, distributors, grocery chains, or other multi-location customers
- Proven experience directly managing a B2B sales team
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team toward sales targets and measurable results
- Experience developing, coaching, and retaining sales professionals
- Strong understanding of structured sales processes and CRM systems
- Comfortable managing performance through data, metrics, and accountability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to have direct and respectful performance conversations
- Highly organized with strong time-management and prioritization skills

- Experience leading a combination of inside sales, field sales, and account management
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot
- Experience recruiting and onboarding sales professionals
- Experience developing sales compensation and incentive programs
The Ideal Candidate
You are an experienced sales leader who measures success by the success of your team.
You are:
- A people leader, not simply a top-performing salesperson
- Results-oriented and comfortable managing to measurable targets
- A coach who enjoys developing people and improving performance
- Process-driven and comfortable using CRM data to make decisions
- Accountable and willing to address issues early
- Strategic, with the ability to identify where the team should focus its time
- Hands-on, willing to work alongside your team rather than manage entirely from behind a desk
- Candid and supportive, with the ability to give honest feedback while maintaining strong relationships
- Consistent and organized, with strong follow-through
- Interested in helping build a growing sales organization and developing toward a future senior leadership opportunity
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year
- Performance-based bonus opportunity
- Full-time, on-site position in Saint Anns, Ontario
