Original job description
At prado, we build invisible home technology for the world’s best architects. Since launching our first flagship product in 2021, we have grown into a fully integrated ecosystem of lighting, ventilation, power and security solutions. Our strong R&D focus and targeted M&A strategy fuel our rapid expansion, with 150 + colleagues operating across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
To support this next phase of growth, we are looking for a driven business developer to expand our presence in the Hamptons, one of the most exclusive residential markets in the US. You will be the key link between prado and our high-profile clientele, including architects, interior designers, developers, and luxury brands. Your expertise in sales and relationship management will drive business growth and ensure an impeccable customer experience from first contact to project completion.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to strengthen prado’s presence in the Hamptons market.
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and developers to expand our client network.
- Identify new business opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to project completion.
- Provide expert guidance on products, pricing, and project requirements.
- Work closely with project management, logistics, and design teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Represent prado at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance market visibility.
- To be eligible for this position, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.
- A strong background in sales within high-end experience in lighting, luxury interiors, architectural products, or design-related industries.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to architects, designers, and developers.
- A self-motivated professional who thrives in both independent and collaborative environments.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Based on Long Island or in the New York City area, with a valid driver’s license and the flexibility to spend a large part of your time in the Hamptons.
- prado is a fast-scaling international company with the ambition to lead its market.
- Guided by a family-driven philosophy, you will feel quickly at home thanks to our warm work environment.
- You’ll work in an inspiring team that encourages passion and excellence, where ambition and collaboration go hand in hand.
- The role offers a challenging scope of responsibilities, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
- We offer a competitive salary package tailored to your experience and skills.
