As an Engine Line Technician, you will be responsible for the establishment, operation, maintenance, repair, and modification of engines and their components, as well as controls and auxiliary products. You will also be tasked with orienting and training customer staff by developing procedures and techniques for operation, maintenance, and inspection. Additionally, you will analyze engine failures and their components to determine the causes and recommend corrective actions.

The position is based at our St-Hubert location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Perform analysis work on the engines to understand the possible solutions that can bring the engine back into service.
Establish and define the work instructions to be performed on the engines.
Provide disassembly reports, follow up on test results and recommend solutions and fixes as needed to minimize test rejections.
Interact with the assemblers / testers / inspectors to direct the work to be done on the product while relying on the aftermarket manuals.
Meet occasionally with customers and provide them with the support they need to answer their questions.

What do you need to be successful?

College diploma in aeronautics with a minimum of 5 years of experience in aeronautics. Field of study: Aircraft manufacturing, Operations management, Other.
Good understanding of a Turbo Machine and the regulations related to Transport Canada.
Good communication skills and teamwork.
Ability to solve technical problems.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

AI certification (Certified Inspector) is an important asset.
AMI certification (Aviation Maintenance Engineer) is an asset.

En tant que Technicien ligne moteurs, vous serez responsable de l’établissement, de l’exploitation, de l’entretien, de la réparation et de la modification des moteurs et de leurs composantes, ainsi que des contrôles et des produits auxiliaires. Vous devrez également orienter et former le personnel client en élaborant des procédures et techniques d’opération, d’entretien et d’inspection. De plus, vous serez chargé de l’analyse des défaillances des moteurs et de leurs composants afin de déterminer les causes et de recommander les actions correctives appropriées.

Le poste s’effectue à notre établissement de St-Hubert, du lundi au vendredi, selon des horaires flexibles et exclusivement en présentiel.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien?

Effectuer du travail d'analyse sur les moteurs afin de comprendre les solutions possibles pouvant reconduire le moteur en service.
Établir et définir les étendues de travail à effectuer sur les moteurs.
Fournir des rapports de désassemblage, effectuer les suivies sur les résultats de tests et recommander des solutions et des correctifs lorsque nécessaire afin de minimiser les rejets au test.
Interagir avec les monteurs/testeurs/inspecteurs afin de diriger le travail à accomplir sur le produit tout en se basant sur les manuels de l’après-marché.
Rencontrer à l’occasion des clients et leur fournir le support nécessaire afin de répondre à leur question.

Qu’est-ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir?

Diplôme d’études collégiales en aéronautique avec minimum de 5 années d'expérience en aéronautique. Domaine d'études: Fabrication aéronautique, Gestion des opérations, Autre.
Bonne compréhension d’un Turbo machine et de la réglementation reliée à transport Canada.
Bonne habileté à communiquer et travail d’équipe.
Habileté à résoudre des problèmes techniques.
Ce poste s’inscrit dans un milieu de travail francophone, néanmoins il nécessite une très bonne connaissance de l’anglais pour lire et comprendre, sur une base quotidienne, de la documentation et des termes techniques qui peuvent émaner d’organisations internationales, ainsi que pour écrire et communiquer en anglais avec des clients, des fournisseurs ou des collègues internationaux.

Qualifications Privilégiées

Une certification AI (Inspecteur agréé) est un atout important.
Une certification AMI (Ingénieur de maintenance d’aviation) est un atout.
