Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with a strong background in business intelligence, data warehousing, advanced SQL, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing Power BI reports and dashboards, working with Snowflake, and using Python for data processing and transformation. Knowledge of REST APIs, PowerShell scripting, and OLAP cube development is an advantage.

The successful candidate will design scalable data solutions, optimize data models, and transform complex datasets into meaningful business insights while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and reporting requirements.
• Develop and manage ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Apply advanced SQL techniques to improve query performance and support complex analytical requirements.
• Develop and maintain data models, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and efficient data retrieval.
• Integrate and manage Snowflake data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to connect Snowflake with existing enterprise systems.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data processing, transformation, and analytical workflows.
• Create, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations.
• Develop and optimize DAX calculations, measures, and expressions to support business reporting and analytical requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand reporting needs, and deliver actionable insights.
• Support API development and integration using PowerShell scripting and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure seamless data accessibility and interoperability across systems and platforms.
• Design, develop, and optimize OLAP cubes to support multidimensional analysis and business intelligence needs.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, improve solution performance, and maintain reliable BI deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in BI development, data warehousing, and analytical query development.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with DAX for Power BI calculations and data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in advanced SQL, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Practical experience using Python for data processing, manipulation, and automation.
• Experience developing Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, and visualizations.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data quality, and data integrity.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with API development and integration using PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Experience with OLAP cube development and optimization.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data solutions.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Snowflake, or related technologies.
