Python Full Stack Developer

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2–4 Days Onsite

Employment Type: Contract

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Full Stack Developer with a strong background in full-stack software development and hands-on experience with Python, React, and cloud-native technologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining robust end-to-end applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the underlying systems and technologies used to build scalable and reliable solutions.

You will play a key role in architecting scalable backend services, developing intuitive and responsive frontend experiences, and ensuring reliable software delivery across containerized and distributed environments.

Key Responsibilities

Build, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Celery.
Design and manage PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, indexing, and migrations.
Develop responsive and intuitive frontend interfaces using React and JavaScript.
Design, containerize, and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Create and manage Helm charts to support deployments across multiple environments.
Support distributed and asynchronous task processing at scale using appropriate technologies and best practices.
Contribute to the design and development of scalable, reliable, and maintainable full-stack solutions.
Work across backend, frontend, database, and cloud-native environments to ensure reliable end-to-end application delivery.

Strong hands-on experience with Python, including:

Experience with Celery, including:
Asynchronous task queues

Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including:

Strong frontend development experience with React and JavaScript, including:

Strong experience with Kubernetes, including:

Experience with Helm, including:

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack development expertise with a solid understanding of cloud-native, containerized, and distributed systems. You should be comfortable working across the application stack - from Python/Django backend services and PostgreSQL databases to React-based frontend applications and Kubernetes-based deployments.

You should also have a strong focus on building scalable, reliable, maintainable, and production-ready software solutions.
