Location: Burnaby, BC (hybrid 1 time per week onsite)

Position Type: Contract

Contract Duration: Initial 1 year with possibility of extension

Job Description

PrecisionERP is seeking an experienced SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM) Technical Consultant for a contract opportunity with our client in Burnaby, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting SAP Service & Asset Manager mobile applications, including integration with SAP ERP and S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade SAP Service & Asset Manager applications across iOS and Windows platforms.
  • Manage integrations with SAP ERP and S/4HANA using SAP Mobile Services and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Configure user personas, role-based access, and mobile workflows.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support, including troubleshooting OData services, backend connectivity, and synchronization issues.
  • Develop enhancements and customizations using SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK), SAPUI5, and Fiori.
  • Integrate SSAM with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), HR, and Finance modules.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams on solution design, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide training to end-users and technical teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of SAP technical experience, including at least 2 years focused on SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Service & Asset Manager (SSAM).
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Service & Asset Manager architecture, configuration, and functionality.
  • Proficiency in ABAP, SAPUI5, OData services, and SAP Mobile Services.
  • Experience integrating SSAM with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Mobile Development Kit (MDK), SAP iOS SDK, and mobile application deployment.
  • Experience with offline synchronization, persona-based mobile workflows, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of ESRI integration and geospatial data handling.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant SAP certifications.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with mobile test automation tools.
