Predator Drilling is looking for a
reliable, safety-focused, and hardworking Floorhand to join our drilling operations.
The Floorhand is an essential member of the rig crew, working under the direction of the Driller and Derrickhand to support safe and efficient drilling operations. This hands-on position involves pipe handling, rig maintenance, equipment operation, housekeeping, and assisting with day-to-day drilling activities.
We are looking for someone who is
dependable, physically capable, willing to learn, and takes pride in working safely and as part of a close-knit team.
What We're Looking For
- Previous drilling rig or oilfield experience is an asset.
- Previous Floorhand experience is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, climbing, and working in demanding outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced and safety-sensitive environment.
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Current safety certifications such as H2S, First Aid/CPR, and Confined Space are considered an asset.

As a Floorhand, you are expected to maintain a strong safety mindset and follow safe work practices at all times. This includes participating in hazard assessments, job safety analyses, toolbox talks, lockout/tagout procedures, permit requirements, lifting procedures, environmental practices, and emergency response protocols.
Rig-floor work requires constant awareness, communication, and teamwork. You are expected to recognize hazards, speak up when something doesn't look right, and look out for your fellow crew members.
