Premier Tech is seeking to expand its team by adding a Class 1 Driver – Peat Moss Haul at its Carrot River facility. As a Class 1 Driver, you will play an important role in daily operations by safely transporting moss and materials, completing vehicle inspections, and ensuring loads are properly secured. You will work as part of a team to support harvesting and hauling operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
- Load, secure, and transport moss in accordance with safety and load requirements
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection records, and required transportation documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe truck and report any mechanical issues
- Follow all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety procedures
- Communicate with team members and management to coordinate hauling activities and support daily operations
- You work well in a production environment and within a team setting, with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- You are looking for a physical role and are comfortable operating material-handling equipment.
- You are available to work a variety of shifts, including occasional weekend work.
- You are a team player who places a high value on safety.
- You are comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
