Company Overview

PRESCRIRE Solutions is building AICA, an AI-powered clinical assistant platform that automates end-to-end healthcare workflows from patient intake to billing submission. Backed by NRC IRAP funding and positioned for global expansion, we're revolutionizing healthcare administration while establishing Montreal as a global leader in healthcare AI innovation.

Our Mission

To eliminate the administrative burden crisis affecting millions of healthcare professionals worldwide, enabling physicians to reclaim 10-15 hours per week and focus on what matters most: patient care.

About The Role

Build robust, scalable backend systems supporting AICA's comprehensive healthcare workflow automation. You'll develop regulatory compliance engines, form automation logic, and secure APIs serving thousands of healthcare professionals across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Engine Development: Build sophisticated automation systems for healthcare compliance and regulatory workflows.
API Architecture Enhancement: Design and optimize enterprise API framework for multi-jurisdictional deployment and scalability.
Database Management: Architect complex PostgreSQL schemas with advanced security and multi-tenant isolation.
Integration Logic: Develop secure connectors for healthcare systems, databases, lab feeds, and imaging platforms.
Security Implementation: Ensure comprehensive compliance with healthcare data regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications

4+ years backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar enterprise-grade technologies.
Strong PostgreSQL and database design skills with experience in complex schema management.
Proven experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures and enterprise security implementations.
Deep knowledge of healthcare data security, compliance frameworks, and audit logging requirements.
Proficiency with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare IT integration experience with EMR systems, lab interfaces, or clinical data exchange.
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, or DICOM.
Experience with government regulatory systems and compliance automation.
French language skills for Quebec healthcare requirements and regulatory documentation.

Why Join PRESCRIRE Solutions?

We're not just building software, we're revolutionizing how healthcare works globally, creating massive value for providers, patients, and shareholders.

Exceptional Wealth Creation

Explosive Growth: Join during our rocket ship phase from startup to global healthcare AI leader.
Significant Equity: Meaningful ownership stakes with massive upside potential in a $50B+ market.
Career Acceleration: Fast-track leadership roles as we scale from 3 to 150+ employees by 2029.

Elite Benefits & Environment

Top-Tier Compensation: Highly competitive packages that reward exceptional performance.
Premium Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family.
Continuous Learning: Generous budget for conferences, training, and skill development.
Modern Work Environment: State-of-the-art Montreal office with flexible hybrid arrangements.

Interview Process

1. Initial Screening (30 mins): Phone/video call with HR to discuss background and mutual fit.
2. Technical Assessment: Role-specific technical evaluation or coding challenge.
3. Team Interviews (2-3 rounds): Technical discussions with engineering team and direct manager.
4. Final Interview: Strategic discussion with CEO Patrick Mousseau.

About Montreal's Tech Scene

Montreal is rapidly becoming North America's AI capital, offering ambitious technologists an unparalleled opportunity to build world-changing companies. Home to MILA and a growing cluster of breakthrough AI companies, the city provides a unique economic advantage to build significant wealth faster with a lower cost of living than SF/NYC.
