Our client, a well-established international brand, is looking for a Manager, Omnichannel Merchandising & Planning to oversee product assortment, purchasing, forecasting and inventory planning for the Canadian market.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who combines strong merchandising expertise with financial and inventory management skills, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage seasonal product assortments tailored to the Canadian market.
- Analyze sales performance, product trends and category results to identify opportunities and optimize the assortment.
- Build product and market briefs, including business cases, sales opportunities and assortment recommendations.
- Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to support product launches and key commercial initiatives.
- Manage seasonal purchasing, purchase orders, inbound inventory and import planning.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance and forecasts to maintain healthy stock levels and support business objectives.
- Collaborate with Finance on sales forecasts and reforecasting.
- Develop longer-term category and demand plans.
- Coordinate with logistics and external partners to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
- Work closely with international teams to align Canadian needs with broader brand and product strategies.
- Identify process improvements and proactively resolve operational and inventory-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising, category management, planning, buying or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of product merchandising, inventory management, financial analysis and consumer trends.
- Experience in the fashion, footwear, lifestyle or consumer goods industry.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with an ERP system is an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Fluently bilingual in French and English.
- Ability to travel occasionally, domestically and internationally.
