The Position
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Mechanic to join our team based in Minto.
As a PDI Mechanic/ Vehicle Accessory Fitter, you will be working on a range of brand-new fleet vehicles. Fitting and customizing aftermarket accessories, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers.

The Position
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Mechanic to join our team based in Minto.
As a PDI Mechanic/ Vehicle Accessory Fitter, you will be working on a range of brand-new fleet vehicles. Fitting and customizing aftermarket accessories, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers.
What You Will Do
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Perform fit-out (Customisation) of Vehicles as per plan and/or instructed
- Fitting and wiring a range of vehicle accessories and equipment
- Completion and sign off on required paperwork for vehicle registration purposes
- Perform required quality checks and be accountable for the workmanship of performed work
- Ensure that required records are completed accurately and submitted on time
- Mechanical/ electrical trade qualification
- Must have a driver's license
- Strong attention to detail & safety-first mindset
- Experience in the use of hand and power tools
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle a range of automotive parts and accessories (sports bars, bumper bars etc)
- Experience in vehicle accessory fitments

Responsibilities
Fit and wire aftermarket accessories on new fleet vehicles, customizing them according to plans or instructions. Safely maneuver vehicles, complete registration paperwork and records, and perform quality checks while taking responsibility for workmanship.
Requirements
A mechanical or electrical trade qualification and a driver's license are required. Candidates should have experience fitting vehicle accessories, using hand and power tools, handling automotive parts, and working safely and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
