Procom is searching for a Contract Commercial Transactions Analyst for a 12 month contract. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Calgary office.
Contract Commercial Transactions Analyst - Job Description:
In this role, you will establish yourself as the subject matter expert for the actualization, pricing, and settlement activities within the Crude Oil / NGL portfolio. You will gather, validate, and maintain volumetric, pricing, and fee information, supporting front, middle, and back office teams with accurate and timely data.
Contract Commercial Transactions Analyst - Responsibilities:
- Manage volumetric data and actualization processes in ETRM systems and other applicable records
- Identify, validate, and allocate all unplanned and established fees associated with commodity movements or transactions
- Support risk management and accounting activities, including month-end processes and unmatched report management
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as trading, scheduling, and financial teams for actualized volumetric and fee-related inquiries
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance in all system records
- Identify and implement process optimizations and automation opportunities
- Maintain business continuity through documentation and training
- Industry-related experience is required
- 5+ years' experience in an analyst role related to Commodity Marketing
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Sound knowledge of crude oil/NGL transaction settlement procedures
- Strong analytical skills to secure relevant information/data and identify key issues
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of OMS, Oil Marketing Systems (Egistix/Allegro)
- Technical proficiency in ETRM systems
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Experience with process and automation improvements
- Adaptability to changes in processes and systems
This is a contingent worker position for 12 months.

Responsibilities
Manage volumetric data, actualization, pricing, and fee allocation for the Crude Oil and NGL portfolio, maintaining accurate and compliant records in ETRM systems. Support trading, scheduling, risk management, and accounting teams with settlement inquiries, month-end processes, process improvements, and documentation.
Requirements
Requires at least five years of analyst experience related to Commodity Marketing, strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, and sound knowledge of crude oil and NGL transaction settlement procedures. Candidates should also have strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
