On behalf of our financial industry client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope - Job Description:

The IT Security Specialist will be responsible for provisioning security rules to support business objectives while adhering to Client's standards across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on safeguarding the bank's global security footprint through timely responses to business application deployments via security policy adjustments, implementations, and assessments.

IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope - Responsibilities:

• Delivery of enterprise firewall solutions, including physical and cloud-based platforms

• Develop and implement security-driven firewall policies

• Liaise with application teams and business requestors for firewall and policy rules implementation

• Ensure firewall implementations meet security requirements and audit expectations

• Collaborate with various teams to translate requirements into secure firewall designs

• Provide senior-level support for complex firewall-related incidents and deployments

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of firewall delivery processes

IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope - Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto, Guardicore, &/or Netskope

• Automation experience

• Experience with ServiceNow

• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication skills

IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Cisco Routers

• Experience in a large enterprise organization

• Banking/Financial industry experience

• Knowledge of Zero Trust concepts

• Experience with Tufin Policy Orchestration tool

IT Security Specialist - Palo Alto, Guardicore, Netskope – Assignment Length:

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension up to 2 years.
