- Facilitate structured requirements for elicitation sessions with stakeholders across PEO business units, including Registration, Licensing, Legal, Communications, HR, IT, and Policy teams, and with external parties as required.

- Perform options of analyses to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative solutions to business problems or opportunities, considering feasibility, cost, timelines, and risk.
- Analyze and model current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes; identify gaps, redundancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Utilize AI-assisted techniques and tools to analyze large volumes of information, identify patterns and opportunities and accelerate requirements analysis.
Documentation & Functional Specifications
- Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts including functional specifications, business requirements documents (BRDs), process maps, data flow diagrams, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create clear and concise documentation following defined internal templates that can be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences; adapt communication style and format to suit the audience.
- Maintain version control and change history for all requirements of documentation in accordance with PMO standards.
- Work with Business Unit leads and IT staff to assess, document, and implement new methods of working with digital tools to replace manual processes.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support the development of business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process documentation, and other business analysis artifacts.
- Develop training materials, job aids, user guides, and organizational development resources to support successful implementation of technology-enabled business change.
Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Validation
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring requirements are well understood and solutions are fit for purpose.
- Serve as the product owner for assigned applications by understanding business needs, prioritizing requirements, supporting enhancements, and acting as the first point of contact for business inquiries related to those applications.
- Work with stakeholders from across PEO and with third parties to ensure alignment of goals, manage expectations, and validate that proposed solutions meet business needs before and after implementation.
- Facilitate workshops, working groups, and review sessions to validate requirements, review prototypes, and build consensus on solution design.
- Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders; produce clear functional reports, decision logs, and meeting summaries and distribute to relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Proactively communicate requirements changes, scope impacts, or solution risks to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders; support change control processes.
Testing, Quality Assurance & Implementation Support
- Lead, support, and participate in Quality Assurance Testing by developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, scenarios, sign-off criteria, and defect tracking processes to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions; track defects and issues through to resolution, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met prior to go-live.
- Support solution validation activities including system integration testing, regression testing, and business process walkthroughs.
- Support readiness activities for project launch and implementation, including training delivery, communications support, and hypercare planning.
- Provide follow-up support and training to business stakeholders post-implementation to ensure effective adoption of new systems and processes.
Project Support & PMO Contribution
- Support Project Managers by contributing to project planning activities, tracking requirements-related milestones, managing changes to requirements scope, and assisting with risk identification and mitigation.
- Participate in project status meetings; provide timely updates on requirements progress, open issues, and risks; contribute to project status reports and dashboards as required.
- Support development and regular review of project scorecards and strategic plan reporting where business analysis input is required.
- Stay current with developments in business analysis practices, digital technology, regulatory trends, and process improvement methodologies; share knowledge and apply learnings to continuous improvement of PMO practices.
