We're Hiring: Structural & Graphic Designer
Toronto, Ontario | Packaging & Point-of-Purchase Displays
I'm working with a well-established packaging and display manufacturer looking for a Structural & Graphic Designer to join their design team.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both the technical side of structural packaging design and the creative, production-focused side of graphics. You'll take projects from initial concepts and prototypes through to production-ready drawings, artwork and final approvals, helping bring retail displays and merchandising solutions to life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop structural concepts, sketches, prototypes and mock-ups for corrugated displays and packaging.
- Create and maintain structural drawings, specifications, bills of materials and production documentation.
- Prepare and adjust artwork for flexographic, lithographic and digital printing.
- Set up production-ready files for print plates and mounting, including colour adjustments and artwork recreation.
- Work with Sales, production, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements, budgets and manufacturing capabilities.
- Support prototyping, design reviews, production approvals and continuous improvement.
- Prepare drawings for steel rule dies, print plates and other display components.
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of relevant structural design and/or graphics experience.
- 2+ years of experience with point-of-purchase (POP) displays or related industrial applications.
- Knowledge of corrugated materials, grades and flutes, as well as foam and other display components.
- Proficiency in ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
- Familiarity with Esko cutting table software and print production processes.
