Propak Energy Services is a proven established leader in engineering, fabrication, construction, and servicing of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. With 50 years in the energy industry, Propak is an authorized distributor for Ariel, Endyn, Dresser-Rand, Gemini, Sullair and Mycom compressors. It is INNIO Waukesha Platinum Power Packager and a Caterpillar GCCP member.
We are currently seeking a Cylinder Head Rebuilder / General Laborer to perform various tasks related to cylinder head rebuilding, using basic hand tools, using basic measuring devices and machinery operations. As an entry level position, it is also used to assess suitability and aptitude towards appropriate apprenticeship training and programs related to cylinder head rebuilding.
Key Responsibiltiies:
- Receiving and disassembling cylinder heads
- Completing cleaning and sandblasting process and procedures
- Basic welding out old valve seats
- Assist senior shop lead with machinery operation and monitoring
- Under direct supervision by senior shop lead, may be required to operate basic hand and power tools, complete basic welding, cylinder head testing and final assembly.
- Assist with cleaning work areas and equipment, tools and daily equipment maintenance
- Perform other laboring and basic daily or monthly activities.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years laborer experience related to oil & gas fabrication;
- Mechanical aptitude;
- Experience with the use and maintenance of equipment or basic hand and power tools is an asset.
