Original job description

This is a chance to build a demand gen function from scratch, with real autonomy, backing from the co-founders, and the mentorship to grow into a bigger leadership role as the function scales.

The Opportunity

Design and own the joint B2B demand gen strategy across both companies, covering Commercial and Enterprise segments
Build and manage a multi-channel pipeline plan: outbound, content, paid, ABM, partnerships and events
Turn strong reference clients and proven ROI data into case studies and campaigns
Select, manage and hold accountable outsourced partners, including BDR/SDR vendors, agencies and tooling
Run campaigns hands-on where it makes sense, and manage budget and vendor spend
Define, track and report on the metrics that matter: pipeline, conversion rates and cost per opportunity
Work closely with leadership and sales across both businesses to keep marketing aligned with sales capacity and target accounts

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on B2B demand gen experience, ideally in a startup, SaaS or tech-enabled services environment
Early in your demand gen career but ready to own a strategy, and keen to build rather than follow a playbook
Experience managing outsourced partners or agencies such as BDR firms, marketing agencies or freelancers
Strong grasp of the modern B2B toolkit, and an understanding of how messaging and channel mix differ between Commercial and Enterprise buyers
Comfort working across two related but distinct brands and audiences
Analytical mindset with experience setting up reporting and using data to guide decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication
Self-starter energy, with comfort navigating real ambiguity
Experience in SPM/ICM, CPM/EPM, fintech or adjacent enterprise software (a bonus)

What’s On Offer

Up to CAD $160,000 base salary
Commission and bonus on top
Full-time, permanent role with hybrid / remote flexibility
Significant autonomy to shape the demand gen function across two businesses
Direct access to the co-founders and a visible impact on growth
A clear path into a larger leadership role as the function scales
